E.M.S. BASEMENT BEDROOM

A bedroom with a large bed, multiple pillows, two black nightstands with plants and clocks, a framed artwork of deer on the wall, and hanging pendant lights.

The Design
These clients were in the process of finishing their basement apartment. They wanted help designing a warm and cozy bedroom that felt light and bright. There are no windows in this bedroom, so I kept the walls a light cream. What you can’t see is a beautiful rustic fireplace on the opposite wall, so I added another slightly rustic touch in the artwork above the bed. The symmetry of the nightstands and the matching hanging pendant lights give the room balance and a sense of order and calm. Layering a rug adds the cozy touch this basement bedroom deserves.

I’ve sourced a bit higher-end and more budget-friendly furniture and accessories for this room. Message me for links!
